LHS softball downs Senatobia

A five-run first inning coupled with 13 hits helped lift the Lafayette Lady Commodore softball team to an 8-5 win over Senatobia on Tuesday. Kelsey Kesler earned the win for LHS. Kendall Glass, M.C. Pate, Corey Hollis, Katrina Wilson and Avery McCullough all had at least two hits for the Lady ‘Dores, who tacked on a single run in the third inning and two more in the fifth. Wilson had a home run in the victory. LHS returns to action Friday at home against Senatobia starting with a junior varsity game at 5 p.m. (March 23, 2011, Page 8)
