Led by a strong showing in doubles, the Lafayette Commodores tennis team started the 2011 season under the direction of first-year coach Debbie Swindoll with an impressive 6-1 win over Lewisburg. LHS won all of the doubles points thanks to the tandems of  Hunter Knight and Jacob Roberts,   Barron Pruitt and Tyler Odom,  Ashley Smith and Lauren Cullen,   Kathryn Owens and Abbey Pate, and the mixed doubles duo of Garrett Reed and Brittany Mann.
