The Oxford Middle School track and field squad had a successful practice meet against Byhalia at Bobby Holcomb Field on Thursday.
The Oxford boy’s claimed victory in each race except the 3200-meter, where Pruett Griffin and Ivan Lopez finished second and third with the same time.
Tristan Orman earned wins in the mile with a time of 5 minutes, 31 seconds, and the 800-meter. (March 11, 2011, Page 8A)
