Bozeman’s dream shot comes true

One of Solomon Bozeman’s dreams played out live for a national television audience Tuesday night, just as it had in his head over and over again on the courts of C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum and the Oxford High gym while he was growing up.With just seconds on the clock, and Bozeman’s Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans trailing by two, the former Charger and EAGLE Player of the Year, took an in-bounds pass, drove the length of the court, pulled up and with just 1.5 seconds left knocked down a 3-pointer with a hand in his face.

The last-second shot not only lifted the Trojans to the Sun Belt Conference Championship, but it also stamped the Trojans’ ticket to its first NCAA Tournament since 1990. (March 11, 2011, Page 7A)
