Rebels top LSU to win 3rd straight

SPORTS EDITOR BLOG — Ole Miss overcame a subpar shooting effort, both from the field and free-throw line, to post a 66-60 win over LSU Wednesday night.On a night where several inches of snow limited the crowd to around 2,00 fans, the Rebels were able to overcome a seven-point deficit in the second half to post the win, their third in a row. OM improved to 16-8 overall and 4-5 in the SEC, while LSU fell to 10-14 and 2-7. 

Chris Warren led the Rebels with 26 points in the win, while Zach Graham added 17 points. Both helped seal the win by combining to make the final four free throws for the team in the last 25 seconds as well as the final nine points overall. LSU was led by Matt Derenbecker, who finished with 19 points, including making 5 of 7 3-pointers. (February 9, 2011)
