Rebels’ game with LSU tonight still on

The threat of snow and bad weather in the Oxford and Lafayette County area tonight will not cancel tonight’s game between the Ole Miss Rebels and LSU Tigers at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 8 and the game can be seen locally on CSS.Fans are urged to show caution in their travel making their way to tonight’s game. Lafayette County is under a Winter Storm Watch until 6 a.m. Thursday, which means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations. The game would still be played even if weather forces the University to close the Oxford campus. Event staff is urged to use best judgment with travel and to contact their supervisor at least two hours prior to game time if unable to attend. (February 9, 2011, Page 8)
