The Ole Miss offense pounded out 17 hits to give great run support to the pitching staff and help grab a series win on the road with an 8-3 win over Houston Sunday on Cougar Field. The Rebels (7-1 overall) beat Houston 4-2 on Friday and rebounded from an 8-2 loss on Saturday.
Tanner Mathis led the Rebels with a 4-for-4 day, while Matt Snyder went 3-for-5 and Zach Kirksey went 3-for-4, including a two-run home run from Kirksey that helped propel Ole Miss to the win. (February 28, 2011, Page 7)
