Isom leads Lady ‘Dores to win over Center Hill

It isn’t often that your starting point guard enters the fourth quarter of play without haven broken a sweat, but sometimes it pays off. That was the case with the Lafayette Lady Commodores point guard Shaq Isom on Saturday night in the ‘Dores 58-55 come-from behind win over Center Hill at the Region 2-4A tournament in the CHS gym.

Due to foul trouble, Isom only played in 4 minutes and 39 seconds of the game until the beginning of the fourth quarter. When the start of the final period came, it showed that she was well rested. (February 14, 2011, Page 6A)
