Arkansas native John Hinkle placed first in the overall male age group in Saturday’s Run for Hope Half Marathon that set its course across Oxford.Hinkle, 24, a native of Lake Village, Ark., finished with a time of 1 hour, 11 minutes, 19 seconds.
Oxford native Sheryl Chatfield, placed first in the overall female division with a time of 1:33:28.
In the two 18-and-Under age groups, Lyndi Strange placed first in the girl’s division with a time of 1:54:12, while Steven Montross placed first in the boy’s division with a time of 1:43:39. (February 28, 2011, Page 8)
