There comes a point for many prospective student athletes where a player goes from being recruited to one who actively recruits for the team he is about to join. That task was bestowed on several Ole Miss verbal commitments that were in town this past weekend for official visits, but no commit did more to sway other highly-coveted prospects than Northwest Mississippi Community College tight end Jamal Mosley.
On Sunday, Mosley re-affirmed his verbal pledge to the Rebels and in the process tried to flip three players — Philadelphia linebacker C.J. Johnson, Amanda Elzy cornerback Jermaine Whitehead and South Panola athlete Nickolas Brassell — who had up until recently all had been verbal commitments to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Thats right get some of the In-state commits instead of letting State get most of them.
