Lafafayette’s Class 4A state title season has earned the school an award from the Army National Guard and MaxPreps.com. LHS football coach Anthony Hart and athletics director Jeff Nelson will be presented with a trophy honoring the school’s title and for finishing as one of the top 50 teams in the final rankings. The MaxPreps Football Tour was inaugurated in 2005 and honors the 10 premier football programs in the nation each year. (January 7, 2011, Page 8A)
