Rallying from early double-digit deficits is nothing new to the Ole Miss women’s basketball team. You could say it has almost become second nature.
So have committing the mistakes that eventually cost the Lady Rebels during Sunday’s 63-58 overtime loss to South Carolina at the C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.Despite turning the ball over a season-low seven times, late turnovers and miscues with the game’s outcome still in the balance proved to make the difference.
Several times during the waning moments of regulation and then again during overtime, Ole Miss had chances to tie or go ahead and either shot an air ball or threw the ball away. (January 17, 2011, Page 7)
