The Oxford School Board approved the contract to purchase 75 acres of land for $3,481,000 near the Oxford Commons on Thursday. The city will purchase 65 acres and pay for the road development with the owners to donate an additional 10 acres. The closing date for the purchase is Wednesday. (January 21, 2011, Page 1A)
