The hunting glories of quail seasons gone by

Local attorney Charles Walker was an avid quail hunter before the region’s bird population virtually disappeared. He still enjoys working with the line of Llewellin setters he’s bred and trained since the late 1960s. Walker discusses his life as a quail hunter with senior staff writer Lucy Schultze in this week’s “A Conversation With…” (December 9, 2010, Page 3)
