A familiar team with a familiar coach will be the Ole Miss Rebels’ opponent in the first game of the season tonight at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.
Arkansas State, led by former LSU head man John Brady, will try to make things difficult on coach Andy Kennedy and his Rebels. Tipoff for the non conference game is set for 7 and the game can be heard locally on 93.7 FM.
Tonight’s game is the third in a series that started when Brady was first hired at ASU. Kennedy has won the first two that have been played at alternating sites and the goal is to make it a clean sweep. (November 12, 2010, Page 7A)
