OMS Chorus Fundraiser
The OMS Chorus holiday meat fundraiser has begun. Enjoy fresh-smoked meats this holiday season from Taylor Grocery while supporting the Oxford Middle School Chorus. Smoked Boston Butts (averaging 8 to 10 pounds) are $25 each. Smoked Boneless Brown Sugar-Peppered Hams (averaging 8 to 10 pounds) are $45 each.
Money is taken in advance with the order. You can place an order with Damien D. Wash, director of choral music at OMS, via e-mail, dwash@oxford.k12.ms.us, or see any OMS chorus member. Make checks payable to Oxford Middle School. The pick up day will be Dec. 10 from 3 until 4:30 p.m. in the OMS parking lot. The Oxford Lions Club’s annual Cheese Sale is now underway. This is the main fundraising event for the Oxford Lions Club. A graveside service will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery-Midtown in Memphis at 12:30 p.m. Visitation will be Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
