SPORTS EDITOR BLOG — The coaching salaries for the biggest coaching names at Ole Miss were approved last month by Mississippi’s Institute for Higher Learning Board of Trustees.The salary scale of baseball coach Mike Bianco, men’s basketball coach Andy Kennedy and football coach Houston Nutt were listed on the approval sheet, as was women’s tennis coach Mark Beyers. Bianco’s contract runs until June 30, 2014 and he receives a salary of $220,000 from Auxiliary Funds and $295,000 from Foundation Funds. There was no change in the contract period made.
Kennedy’s current contract runs through March 31, 2014 and his annual salary is $1.3 million with $220,000 coming from Auxiliary Funds and $1.08 coming from Foundation Funds.
Nutt has a contract at Ole Miss through Dec. 31, 2013. His annual salary is $2.65 million currently with $220,000 coming from Auxiliary Funds and $2.405 million coming from Foundation Funds.
Beyers has a contract through June 30, 2014 and he will make $102,000 annually during the length of the contract. (November 19, 2010)
