A season that has not gone the way Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt wanted at the start of the year will conclude this Saturday night in the annual “Egg Bowl” game against Mississippi State. In a year in which injuries, suspensions and mistakes have garnered the most attention for the Rebels, Saturday’s game serves as a chance for the Rebels to make amends for a disappointing year with a win over the team that caused them so much grief at the end of last season.
Nutt talked about the rivalry, among other things, Monday during his weekly press conference and how last year’s game has been used as motivation to defeat the Bulldogs. (November 23, 2010, Page 8)
