Neighborhoods start seeing green

The Oxford Tree Board, thanks to a grant from the Mississippi Forestry Commission, is helping  homeowners learn how to plant trees on their property by providing free workshops and even free trees to plant.

The Tree Board received a $1,500 grant to purchase trees of a wide variety. They picked two subdivisions — Eagle Point and Community Green to begin their new project. (November 17, 2010, Page 1)
