It was just announced that Ole Miss sophomore right tackle Bobbie Massie was named the Southeastern Conference’s Offensive Lineman of the Week.
In Ole Miss’ 43-21 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday, the 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman graded out at 92 percent on run plays and 90 percent on pass plays. He also posted 11 finishes, four knockdowns and did not allow a sack for the third time this season.
As a unit, the Rebels are first in the SEC, having allowed just seven sacks on the season, and also rank second in rushing offense (221.6 yards per game).
Against the Ragin’ Cajuns, Ole Miss racked up 478 total yards, including 298 on the ground.
BOLDEN LISTED AS HONORABLE MENTION: Ole Miss junior running back Brandon Bolden was also honored by the SEC as an honorable mention after rushing for 136 yards and two scores, and catching four passes for 80 yards and another touchdown.
