Ranger WR White commits to La. Tech

The goal for Northwest Mississippi Community College wide receiver Myles White was to continue his college playing career in the South. Thanks to a stellar season with the Rangers that saw the Detroit native catch 53 passes for 712 yards and six touchdowns, White garnered offers from the likes of Louisiana Tech and Troy, as well as interest from Ole Miss.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound White, who started his career at Michigan State, visited Ruston, La., over the weekend and ultimately decided that becoming a Bulldog and playing under the direction of coach Sonny Dykes was too good to pass up. (November 24, 2010, Page 6A)
