A week after taking a stranglehold on the MACJC North Division standings, the No. 7 Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers will host Southwest tonight at Bobby Franklin Field. Kickoff for tonight’s game is set for 6:30 and the game can be heard locally on 93.7 FM.
The Rangers (5-0 overall) have played smothering defense over the last two weeks in wins over Coahoma and Northeast. NWCC has only allowed 13 points in those two wins, and only 32 points in three North Division games. (October 7, 2010, Page 6)
