The 2010 season was supposed to be a year of transition for Ole Miss women’s volleyball team.
That sentiment couldn’t be further from the truth, and it was blatantly evident on Sunday when Ole Miss dismantled Georgia 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-19) at the Gillom Sports Complex.
Transitioning from a 10-20 overall record a year ago had the potential to make this season a long and difficult one.
That hasn’t been the case, however, as the Lady Rebels have already secured an improved Southeastern Conference record (6-2) and are looking to finish in the top half of the SEC for the first time since the 2007 season. (October 11, 2010, Page 4B)
