• Gaither Knight Pollard — 91, died Saturday, July 24, 2010. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Waller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow with a military service at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The visitation will be held for two hours prior the service at the funeral home.
• Betty Claire Starkey Smith — 78, died Saturday, July 24, 2010. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Philadelphia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 this evening at the United Funeral Service in New Albany, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
