Now that her son is safely home from Iraq, Lynda Walker wants to help other moms who have children serving overseas in the military. Walker and Lisa Seaburg are organizing the first Mississippi chapter of the Blue Star Moms of Mississippi. While seeking membership, the chapter is planning their first project to send packages overseas during Christmas. Walker says that Blue Star Moms is a group that offers support and promotes patriotism. (July 19, 2010, Page 1)
