Acrobats to perform

Recognized as the premier Chinese acrobatic touring company, the Golden Dragon Acrobats are slated to perform Friday at the University of Mississippi's Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts. The Golden Dragons have traveled the world, performing in all 50 states and more than 65 countries on five continents. Designed and choreographed by Danny Chang and Angela Chang, the show is a combination of award-winning acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumes, ancient and contemporary music, and theatrical techniques. The show is set for 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for 18 and under, all general admission. They are available by calling 915-7411, by visiting the UM Box Office in the Student Union from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays or the Ford Center Box Office at 10 a.m. on the day of the show, or by going to www.olemiss.edu/depts/tickets/order.htm.
