St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 113 S. 9th St., will host a “Blessing of the Backpacks” on Sunday during the 9 a.m. Eucharist. Refreshments will be served in the parish hall following the service. Bring your backpack to church and receive a blessing before school begins next week. The church is also collecting supplies to support Leap Frog.
