The Design Detectives – Engineering Day Camp will be held this month for girls entering grades 6 through 10. Attendees will complete experiments, meet women in the field of engineering, go on field trips and even engineer their own invention. The camp will be held June 21-25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and June 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Regents School of Oxford, 14 CR 130 in Oxford. The cost is $30 per girl, space is limited.
Whether you know anything about science or are a Girl Scout, The Design Detectives – Engineering Day Camp is set up to be a place to be creative, inventive and meet new people. The Engineering Day Camp is provided by Girl Scouts Heart of the South through a grant from the U.S Department of Education.
