The Oxford School District has approved the budget for the 2010-2011 school year. Eventhough the budge is about $400,000 more than last years budget the district expects to receive less money from the state. The shortfall in state funds is being made up by an increase in federal dollars generated by taxes collected in the community. (June 29, 2010, Page 1)
