Three Water Valley Blue Devils helped grab eight points at Friday’s Class 3A state meet at Pearl. Justin McCammon led the group with a fifth-place finish in the shot put. McCammon recorded a throw of 40 feet-9.5 inches. Devin Fleming finished seventh in the discus with a 120-0, while Montez Clark was seventh in the shot with a 38-10. (May 17, 2010, Page 3B)
