The Ole Miss Diamond Rebels (36-17 overall) took a bit of a dip across the board in the national polls following a disappointing weekend at Tuscaloosa, Ala.
In the four major polls, Ole Miss’ largest drop came in Baseball America, where the Rebels fell from No. 14 to No. 18.
In both Collegiate Baseball and the USA Today ESPN Top 25 coaches’ baseball poll, the Rebels are at No. 17 from No. 15 and No. 16 respectively.
Rounding out the major polls, the National College Baseball Writers Association has Ole Miss at No. 19, down one spot from last week.
After taking two of three from Tennessee, Auburn, Ole Miss’ next opponent, is up to No. 16 in Collegiate Baseball. (May 18, 2010, Page 9)
