Rebels drop Game 3 at Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —Following almost a four hour rain delay, the Rebels fell to Alabama 6-3 at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

With Ole Miss leading 3-2, the Tide broke the game open in the seventh, scoring four runs on four hits and one error.

Ole Miss starter David Gofoth earns the loss, having allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk in 6.1 innings.

Nathan Kilcrease picked up the win for Alabama, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks in his first career complete game.

Tonight’s game was delayed three hours and 50 minutes due to severe weather in the Tuscaloosa area.

NEXT UP: Ole Miss will conclude its regular season next weekend when it hosts Auburn for a three-game series at Oxford-University Stadium. (May 16, 2010)
