No. 16 Rebels get offensive in sweep of MSU

It took a tornado warning in Oktibbeha County to silence the Ole Miss Rebels’ bats on Sunday.

With Ole Miss leading the Mississippi State Bulldogs 19-11 after seven innings, the game at Dudy Noble Field was called due to a severe thunderstorm warning in the area.

The win was the third of the weekend for the Rebels, who took the previous two games 4-2 and 12-10. (May 3, 2010, Page 1B)
