LOFT to give money to local nonprofits

The Lafayette Oxford Foundation for Tomorrow, or LOFT, the Lafayette County affiliate of the CREATE Foundation in Tupelo is looking to give away $20,000 in community grants this year, which is about $9,000 less than it gave away last year to local non-profit organizations.

LOFT began taking applications for the 2010 grant cycle on May 1. For more information on LOFT, visit www.lafayetteoxfordfoundationfortomorrow.com or contact Mayo at 662-801-4991. (May 3, 2010, Page 3A)
