Despite concerns over the last-minute decision of the organizers of the Double Decker Arts Festival to move most of the annual event to Sunday to avoid stormy weather, the move turned out to be a prudent – and successful – one. Crowds turned out for both the Saturday-evening concert lineup of headliners and Sunday’s all-day attraction of art and food vendors and more live performances. (April 26, 2010, Page 1A)

DD should be turned into a 2-day festival. Music and art both Saturday and Sunday. It’s such a great festival, but there’s just too much to do in one day, especially when the Rebs have a home baseball series.
I say, make it a 2-day festival permanently. The art vendors would get more out of their investment to travel to Oxford. Granted, planners would have to add a few more bands…but that’s a good thing!
What does everyone say to that???
