When: 4/15/2010
Posted in: , , ,

The Lafayette County Master Gardeners, in association with the University Museum, presents the third lecture in the Spring Garden Lecture Series on Thursday. The lecture will begin at noon at the University Museum at University Avenue and Fifth Street. The speaker for the fourth lecture, titled “”Growing a Rainbow for Your Table:  The Colorful Kitchen Garden,” will be Linda Boyd, a market gardener of locally grown fruits and vegetables. Originally from Indiana, she is a self-taught gardener who has developed her own system of organic gardening over the past 10 years and now sells her produce locally. She will talk about growing vegetables for your table that lend color to your garden. The series is free and open to the public. Bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy this informative lecture with other gardeners.
