OMS boys’ streak snapped

OMS BOYS STREAK SNAPPED: The Oxford Middle School boys track team had its streak snapped on Thursday at the OMS Track Invitational held at Bobby Holcomb Field. Taking the title was Grenada, amassing 190 points, while the Chargers placed a close second with 181 points.
“I don’t remember exactly when we lost our last meet,” Chargers coach Mike Hardwick said in an e-mail.
Also participating in the meet were Lafayette, New Albany, Pontotoc and Charleston. (April 2, 2010, Page 7A)
