Is it time to swap “virtual” fences for real ones?

A few years back, the government decided to try “virtual fences” with radar, cameras and sensors along the border between the United States and Mexico. With illegal immigration becoming a bigger issue with each passing day, Editor Don Whitten wonders if lawmakers ready to swap virtual fences for real ones don’t have a pretty good idea. (April 21, 2010, Page 4)
