The University of Mississippi English Department presents a free, exclusive pre-screening of the film "Countdown to Zero," Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Bondurant Auditorium.
The film is co-produced by Global Zero (an international, non-partisan movement to eliminate nuclear weapons worldwide), Participant Media ("An Inconvenient Truth," "Food Inc.," "The Kite Runner," "Charlie Wilson's War"), and Lawrence Bender ("Inglorious Basterds," "Good Will Hunting," "Pulp Fiction").
The film recently premiered at Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews. This tour is in promotion of its theatrical release in NYC/LA on July 9th and spreading awareness about the very real and pressing world issue of eliminating nuclear weapons world wide and stopping nuclear proliferation and nuclear terrorism.
