On Wednesday, an Oxford Police Department officer issued a citation to the residents of a house on Beanland Drive that has had several complaints about leaving beer cans and other garbage laying around outside. The biggest offenders are the City/County’s own garbage trucks that don’t swallow in between pickups. The second biggest offenders are trash contract haulers who don’t cover their loads. The third largest offenders are drivers of pick-up trucks who throw trash in the back where it gets blown out eventually.
