Three seasons of hard work on the baseball diamond paid off for Water Valley pitcher/infielder Shanquayle Jenkins Tuesday when he signed a scholarship offer to play for Northwest Mississippi Community College. Jenkins became the second Blue Devil this season to sign with the Rangers, joining shortstop Josh Johnson, and the seventh from WVHS to sign with NWCC since the end of the 2006 season. (April 21, 2010, Page 8)
