A look ahead at Green Week

For the second annual green week in Oxford April 19-23, organizers wanted to do more than educate citizens on the issues; they want to reach out and get people involved. By focusing on community service projects and asking people to pledge to make at least one change in their green lifestyle, the Green Week committee is looking to promote community involvement.
Each day of Green Week focuses a different aspect of Sustainability: Recycling and waste minimization on Monday, transportation on Tuesday, energy conservation on Wednesday, green initiative awareness on Thursday and Local Community Day on Friday.
