A concert featuring the Mississippi Mass Choir, University of Mississippi Gospel Choir and a community choir is set for April 23 at 7 p.m. at the Ford Performing Arts Center. Proceeds from the event go to support the restoration of Burns Belfry, the oldest African-American-built structure in Oxford, built as a church in 1910 and now slated to become a cultural center.
