Organization:Take Back the Night

Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to meet in the Lyceum Circle at 6 this evening to march through campus in recognition of Take Back the Night. Following the march, attendees will hear from Janet Kennedy of the Mississippi Attorney General’s office in Jackson and Oxford Mayor Pat Patterson. Pizza will be provided by Domino’s and several door prizes will be awarded. Representatives from several campus and community organizations will be on hand to offer information about activities and efforts on campus to prevent violence and assist victims. The night will conclude with a candlelight vigil, and survivors who wish to speak out will have an opportunity to talk.
