OXFORD PARK COMMISSION HOOPS — Close games in the 7-8 year-old league highlighted Oxford Park Commission youth basketball action over the weekend. The Lakers topped the Cavaliers 12-10 while the Jazz nipped the Clippers 19-18 on Friday. The Lakers also edged the Mavericks on Saturday 13-12. In the other 7-8 game, the Celtics pounded the Bulls 27-3. In the 9-10 league, the Celtics defeated the Lakers 29-21, while the Cavaliers beat the Suns 35-17. (March 2, 2010, Page 9)
