LHS softball rolls past North Pontotoc

An 11-run seventh inning broke open a close game and ultimately lifted the Lafayette Lady Commodores to a 15-2 win over North Pontotoc in girls softball action Friday. LHS had 10 hits as a team, with Stormy Robinson, Corey Hollis and Kendall Glass each having multiple hits.
Robinson and Hollis each had two triples in the victory, while Robinson earned the victory. North Pontotoc’s Courtney Quillian took the loss. Danyel Raby had a triple and a home run in the loss for North Pontotoc which led the game 2-1 before the Lady Commodores scored three runs in the top of the sixth and then put the game away in the seventh. (March 15, 2010)
