OXFORD LIVING — They may not be the kinds of pieces you expect to find in an art museum, but if you’re looking for relics of Southern roots, it doesn’t get any more pure than this. The work of untrained African-American artists from Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama is on display now through May 7 at the University of Mississippi Museum.
