Oxford OKs horse patrols on Square

The Oxford Board of Aldermen approved a request to spend $4,360 to send Oxford Police Department officers and four horses to mounted officer training. But is this initiative a positive public safety and public relations move by the city, or could it harm Oxford’s reputation? (January 8, 2010, Page 1)
